Joppe Schepers
JOB TITLE
Joppe has been with TFN from the start and worked on 35+ assignments. What excites him is the variety of cases TFN works on and teaming up with clients highly determined to make a difference for our climate and build successful companies.
Joppe brings two decades of experience in sustainability, capital markets, strategy, and M&A, having held key roles at BlackRock, BAML, UBS, and ABN AMRO. Most recently, he was part of BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory team in EMEA, where he built the sustainability offering and led the Markets & Transactions team.
His career spans a unique mix of consulting, structuring, and strategic advisory (and, for completeness, fractional CFO of a fashion start up). At BAML, he served as EMEA Co-Head of Capital Products, while at UBS and ABN AMRO, he focused on strategy and M&A in Amsterdam, Hong Kong and London. Having worked closely with clients across power & utilities, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, private equity, and official institutions in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the US, he has developed a deep understanding of market dynamics and investor needs.
Trained as a macro-economist and as a father of three kids he is determined to find ways to counter climate change in a way that also makes economic sense (read commercially viable!!!). To escape his inbox he sometimes climbs a mountain or likes to do offshore sailing races but 5G seems to be everywhere these days.
