Erik joined the TFN team in 2023 and has since supported clients across a variety of industries ranging from (non-exhaustive) green hydrogen production and hydrogen aircraft manufacturing, to plastics recycling and EV charging infrastructure. The mandates he has worked on have been wide-ranging, including the design of fundraising roadmaps, leading debt advisory trajectories, building company valuation models and executing equity fundraisings.

Prior to joining TFN, Erik worked close to 20 years in financial services. He spent most of his career at ING Bank, where he had several roles, most notably head of ING’s credit restructuring activities in Asia-Pacific and establishing ING’s aviation sector finance and coverage team in Asia-Pacific. He spent 11 years in Singapore, where he dedicated the final years of his banking career to corporate venture building, spurring innovation and developing new business ideas for ING.

Erik holds a Master in Commercial Engineering from Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and successfully completed the CFA curriculum.

Outside of work, Erik is passionate about kitesurfing and strives to become a better guitar player. He is married and has one daughter.
